Unless you continue to act like I am some sort of malevolent force hell-bent on making sure you live out your life alone and forsaken as my live-in made. Because that's a little irritating, I have to tell you. Not trying to ruin your mood, just being honest.

I know, I understand that you're not interested in people in the physical sense that Sigma clearly is. And while I knew I leant toward men and found them attractive, I wasn't certain if I was like you. Whether I wanted physicality. Or romance. And now that I've been through Sigma and York, and now that I've really let myself look at Maine, I realize how uncomfortable all of this must make you.

I love you, big brother, and I don't want to make you uncomfortable with my trying to figure out how to explain how I feel.

Do you know how in school there used to be days when you came back and you were so excited because you learned something really cool? That feeling in your stomach when the classes are amazing or you have something really tasty to eat or things just line up perfectly like when the twins are both laughing over a funny face?

That feeling in your stomach when everything is right? That's what it feels like to have him smile at me.

No. He doesn't make everything better. He... He makes me feel so excited. Like I want to giggle because he's paying attention to me. I feel... bubbly.

Maine's fingers are so warm. And other than the callouses, his skin is soft.
